The 2016 elections seasons is over. President-Elect Donald Trump will lead our nation. Republicans have control of both Houses of Congress, 34 Governor posts, numerous state legislatures. While an unexpected percentage of blacks voted for Mr. Trump, the grind of national politics has resulted in the need for reconciliation.
Black on Black Compassion promotes the idea that, only with practical grassroots initiatives underway, can African Americans communities move forward in various dimensions – especially in the realm of economics.
Urban Economics Initiatives (UEI) project seeks to develop and execute practical solutions that build functioning economic exchange in black communities. The project embraces models for job creation, business growth, organizing financial resources, etc. UEI encompasses a number of deliverables, such as:
The core value in UEI is to avoid “project bloat”. That is, to confine the project to a reasonable focus.
The establishment of various elements to guide UEI's work. This includes:
1. Publication of a set of strategic documents that will guide UEI's work.
2. BBC's technology enhancements to facilitate ongoing activity.
3. Legal structures.
4. Project selection decision models.
The design, implementation and completion of the first of UEI initiatives. Note that UEI projects might have a national, regional, state, and/or local focus. BBC promotes limiting the projects to no more than three, recognizing that any substantial works moves black America forward without laying onto these efforts the weight of solving "all problems".60%

This phase will concentrate on gaining commitment of resources for UEI. This includes, but is not limited to:
It is vital that we formalize these commitments using such tools as Memorandums of Understanding (MOU).
This phase focuses on efficient and effective execution of the first UEI implementation.
Once completion of this iteration is reached, we must collect, analyze, and plan for the next iteration of the process. Deriving learnings/insights is critical. NextGen might call for continuation and/or growth e.g., launching institutions.
